I offer a broad range of activities for children of
all ages, along with days out and trips to local facilities. Our weeks
are carefully planned to stimulate and educate your children and to
help them through their early years, with this in mind all the activities,
planned are aimed at helping the children to achieve their highest
potential.
When the weather permits I have a safe garden for children to play
in, with plenty of toys. When the weather is not at its best I have
many art and craft materials puzzles, games, Lego, dolls, cars, baby
toys, role play and we visit the local library.
For younger children there is a local toddler group
by going there your children get to mix with other children their
own age. All the activities are based on children's age and understanding.
Some of the day to day activities the children might be involved in
include:
Messy play (cutting, gluing, painting, play-dough)
Crafts (clay modeling, sewing, collage, etc)
Computer games
Dressing up/Role play/Imaginative play
Reading/Story time
Construction bricks, puzzles, board games
Outdoor play walks
Domestic activities (cooking, preparing food, etc)
Toddler groups
These activities can be flexible and there will also be time offered
within the day for naps/sleeps and quiet time. The routine of the
day will always depend upon the needs of each individual child.
I actively encourage the following:
Sharing and co-operation
Respect for self, others and property
Good manners and politeness
