Fun activities

I aim to provide quality childcare by offering a child-centered approach in a home-from-home environment where they can play and learn, that enables the child to feel happy, comfortable and secure whilst fulfilling their potential.

I believe in both structure and flexibility and provide many activities with lots of arts and crafts, stories and songs. I stay flexible to follow each child's individual wants and needs. We do lots of activities and although I do try to maintain a clean setting, fun always takes precedence. All my equipment is good quality and is clean and hygienic.

The childcare setting is the family home which is a spacious three bedroom semi-detached house with enclosed garden. Most of the activity will take place downstairs and there is a lounge, dining room with attached conservatory providing an adequate play area. There is a kitchen used for eating and messy play. Upstairs will mainly be used for naps/sleeps. There are family pets, two cats and one dog. Please be assured that the family zoo is a friendly one.
Local facilities include: Cliffe Park (playground, sandpit), Dronfield Sports Centre (tumble time and other sports activities for all ages), Dronfield Library (story time and baby rhyme time), and various Toddler groups for parent/carer sessions and the Wacky Warehouse all within walking distance.
Within driving range there is Wonderland, Gullivers Kingdom and Sundown Adventure Parks, Graves Park Rare Breeds center, Millhouses Park (with boating lake, stream, play pools), Linacre Reservoirs, White Post Farm, several play domes such as Wacky Warehouse and Easy Tigers, and many more.
As a Registered child minder I must use a contract and complete child record forms and obtain permission for various aspects of the childcare they provide. There is quite a lot of paperwork and form filling to do, so be prepared to spend some time over registration.
